NRIC / Passport, Driving License, Flight Itinerary, age from 20- 65, show us the same original documents when you pick up the car.

The Renter and additional drivers must be between 20 to 65 years old for normal car category vehicles and 22 to 65 years old for luxury car category vehicles and in possession of a full and valid national or International Driving Licence. Other nationals who hold a valid driving license in English can drive in Malaysia for a maximum of 3 months (subject to country). Probational license holders will not be accepted.

Kindly make FULL PAYMENT upon pick up the car, Cash and Online Bank Transfer acceptable.

If you need to extend your rental period with Instant Star Enterprise, you may request an extension at the discretion of our company. Please reach out to our customer service team as soon as you know you need the extension. If the extension is approved, we will provide you with the new rental terms and update your booking confirmation accordingly. It is important to note that if you fail to return the vehicle at the end of the original rental period without obtaining an approved extension, we reserve the right to charge the rental at the contracted rate for the period of time you have possession of the vehicle. We strive to accommodate our customers' needs whenever possible, so please communicate with us as soon as you anticipate requiring an extension.

The Renter shall ensure the vehicle and keys are kept in good condition at all times during the period of the rental. The Renter shall ensure the vehicle is kept locked when the vehicle is not in use, and the Renter will incur a charge (which Instant Star Enterprise will set from time to time) for lost keys. The Renter shall utilize any security device fitted to or supplied with the vehicle. The Renter must ensure that the correct fuel is used for the vehicle. The Renter shall be fully responsible for any damage to the exterior part of the vehicle (front, rear, upper, lower sides and undercarriage) caused by hitting any object. This applies irrespective of whether or not the Renter has opted for the super liability reduction option and liability reduction option in accordance with clause. The renter shall not sell, rent, remove, replace or dispose of the vehicle or any of its parts thereof. The renter shall not grant any person (s) any legal right over the vehicle. The Renter shall not carry out any repair or service work on the vehicle without obtaining the written permission of Instant Star Enterprise The Renter must notify Instant Star Enterprise immediately as soon as the Renter is aware of a defect or damage in the vehicle and the Renter is liable for all damage and loss (including theft) caused to the vehicle during the period of the rental. Upon the end of the rental period, the Renter shall return the vehicle to the agreed return location, during the operating hours displayed at the rental location and Instant Star Enterprise's team shall examine the vehicle to ascertain that the vehicle is in good condition. Where Instant Star Enterprise has agreed that the Renter may return the vehicle outside operating hours, or where the Renter has requested collection of the vehicle. The Renter's liability of damage, theft, parking violations and charges shall extend to midday on the first working day following the collection time (working day is defined according to station operating hours or the time of re-inspection of the vehicle by a member of Instant Star Enterprise's team. Damage to the vehicle includes damage and/or loss of glass, tyre rims, vehicle lights, tyre and interior accessories. The renter shall pay for repairs is the vehicle requires more than Instant Star Enterprise standard cleaning, or if the vehicle has been damaged on the interior or exterior (whether or not it is the Renter's fault). The renter shall ensure, on the return of the vehicle that the renter has not left any personal belongings in the vehicle and Instant Star Enterprise shall not be responsible for any of the Renter's personal belongings left in the vehicle.

The total rental rate for Instant Star Enterpr is calculated based on the information provided at the time of reservation. It is important to note that car rental usage time less than 24 hours will still be charged for the full day rate, with additional rent at the daily rate if applicable. Once confirmation and details are provided, there is a strict no-cancellation policy after booking. A booking fee of 15% from the total rental will be forfeited in the event of cancellation. We encourage our customers to ensure they have accurate and complete information before making a reservation with us.

The vehicle shall not be operated by any person(s) who has given to Instant Star Enterprise a fictitious name or false age or address. The vehicle shall only be driven by person(s) named overleaf, or by anyone Instant Star Enterprise authorizes in writing. Anyone driving the vehicle must have held a valid full current driving license for at least one year. Probationary license holders are strictly not permitted to drive Instant Star Enterprise vehicle. The renters or any authorized driver shall not use the vehicle for hire to rewards, any illegal purpose, vehicle off-road, racing, pace making, test drive, testing the vehicle's reliability and speed, to propel or tow any vehicle or trailer or to teach someone to drive, under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other illegal substances as determined by the authorities. Carry a number of passengers and/or baggage which could cause the vehicle to be overloaded or to transport goods in violation of customs regulations or any illegal manner as determined by the authorities. Any cause to unpleasant odor (e.g durian, salted fish, perfume, a material used in the practice of religion, etc.) The renters are responsible for all parking fees or Traffic/JPJ/MBKS /PDRM fines/compound incurred during the rental period.

The use of car rental from Instant Star Enterpr is strictly restricted within Kuching town (EXCEPT Puncak Borneo Highland), Kota Samarahan, Serian (until Serian Town). Any usage outside of these mentioned areas will result in a penalty of RM500, unless prior permission has been obtained. It is also NOT ALLOWED to drive the rental car outside of Malaysia, for example, to Indonesia. Please be aware that a non-negotiable charge of RM500 will be imposed if these restrictions are violated. These guidelines are in place to ensure the safety and proper use of our rental vehicles and to comply with local regulations. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Free delivery & drop off at Kuching Airport / Kuching Sentral (bus station). Pick up / drop off will be charges for other locations, rate from rm15-50/way. Delivery charges may vary by location and/or based on real-time traffic conditions.

Additional charge for midnight delivery – RM50/deliver (10pm – 8am)

We operate on a "return as you received" fuel policy. You should return the rental car with the same fuel level as at the start of the rental. If the fuel level is lower, refueling charges will apply. Remember to check and plan accordingly before returning the vehicle.

You are responsible for excess not exceed for compact cars RM1,500, sedan cars RM2000, MPV RM2,500 and larger cars RM3,000. You can waive the excess by purchasing Excess Protection. Compact Rm30/day Sedan Rm40/day Mpv Rm50/day 4×4 , Van, Luxury Rm80/day Economy Vehicles: Estimation of repair cost: Broken Lights: RM200 - RM2000 Per Dent: RM100 - RM1500 Per Scratch: RM100 - RM500 Per Tyre: RM150 - RM600 Repair cost varies depending on the car type and model. The Excess Protection for accident or damage only applicable for collision between two moving cars. Any damage while the vehicle is stationary will be under hirer responsibility and subject to the excess clause as mentioned above. Excess protection does not apply for damage as a result of your illegal, negligence, careless actions, car lost, tyre punctures, bust tire, fuel errors, lack of electricity because of forgotten turned off electrical devices, loss or damage to the vehicle accessories and damages of windows, mirror and undercarriage.  If the accident or damage to the vehicle is cause by third party vehicle, then the hirer is responsible to get all third-party detail such as vehicle registration number, driver’s name and driving license number. If the claims cannot be made against third party insurance, therefore all damage will be borne by hirer subject to excess clause as mentioned above.
